A few new movies opening this weekend.
QUARANTINE – An attempt to be the next CLOVERFIELD. A group of people are trapped in a building under quarantine by the CDC. With a no name cast, will anyone care to see it?
THE EXPRESS - A Dennis Quaid football film. I originally left this off the list, as I thought it had already opened. All these football films blend together.
BODY OF LIES – Ridley Scott directs this thriller with Leonardo DiCaprio and Russell Crowe from the writer of THE DEPARTED. I’ve seen the trailer countless times and this isn’t really on my “Must See” list.
CITY OF EMBER –Futuristic family film about life in an underground world starring Bill Murray and Tim Robbins, from Gil Kenan, the director of MONSTER HOUSE.
Also THE DUCHESS and RELIGULOUS go wider this weekend.
I would say you could catch up on what came out last weekend, but in looking at my movie listings, many of those films have been cut back to only one or two showings a day.
And people wonder why attendance in theatres is supposedly down. They throw everything out there at once, and when they don't perform, take them out of theatres.

Moviezzz, if any of your readers were looking forward to any these movies, or saw one and really enjoyed it, I would love to hear about it.
I think there's a major audience out there that is being overlooked. I have no desire to pay money to see any of those movies in a theater, and can't be so much of a freak to be alone in my feeling.
