Odd Netflix E-mail


This week, Netflix was supposed to ship me a DVD. It wasn't anything special, a DVD of game show moments from the 70s.

I got an email that it wasn't available at my local shipping center and was going to be sent from another shipping center. This happens quite often so I wasn't worried. The email said I would get it on Thursday.

Thursday comes, and it isn't here. Since it came from farther away, maybe the mailing times were off, and I'd get it the next day.

Friday comes, and it isn't in my mail. Again, no big deal. Maybe it is lost and might take another day or so.

I check my email tonight and there is an email from Netflix saying "We have received your DVD and have shipped out a new one."

What?

I still haven't gotten it! And it has already been returned?

Did someone out there get it, watch it, and send it back?

Or, did it get lost in the shipping center, someone found it, and checked it back in?

The good news, a different DVD (that I actually wanted more) has been shipped and I should have it tomorrow.

Anyone else have this happen?
