In 1995-1996, I would tape 120 MINUTES on MTV every Sunday night. Hosted by Matt Pinfield, in many ways I think that was music's highpoint in the past few decades. The videos shown there, along with Pinfield's introductions, made for some of the best music TV since the beginning of MTV.
When I got a DVD recorder, I went through a lot of those old tapes and recorded a lot of the videos to DVD. The resulting DVD is probably one of my most watched. From clips from THE STATE (which aired right before 120 minutes), commercials, the videos, it is a great time capsule.
One of the videos on that collection was for the song "Enough" by the Dance Hall Crashers. I never had heard of them before that video, or even all that much since. The song was then part of the soundtrack of the film ANGUS (which had a better soundtrack than was a film, also featuring Green Day's best song "J.A.R.").
So, here is "Enough". Great song, and I'm not normally a ska fan.
The only disappointing thing, as the video ended on 120 Minutes, the video for an even better song came on, "Cellophane" by Knapsack. LOVE that song and video. But, it isn't on YouTube and it looks like the band is no more.
